This kit is used for qualitative determination of hepatitis B virus e antibody (HBeAb) in human serum or plasma. Hepatitis B virus e antibody (anti HBE) appeared after hepatitis B e antigen turned negative. The positive of anti HBE indicated that the infectivity of patients had been relatively reduced, and the degree of virus replication had been reduced or relieved. It was found that some of them were positive for anti HBE, but HBV RNA (HBV-DNA) was also positive. It can not be used as the only index for the evaluation of patients' condition, but also for the comprehensive analysis of patients' clinical performance and other laboratory tests.
